Owner Operator Truck Driver

Job Description
We are looking for Owner Operators to haul fuel from Whitehorse to Inuvik. Class 1 license and fuel experience are required. The driver will need to be badged at Suncor Whitehorse - Fuel Donkey is able to support and help with this transition. The work is consistent from June to November. The job is with an energy company who is there to support, train and guide when onsite. Transporting fuel will be along the Dempster highway. Fuel cards are provided by the energy company. Details include:
- hourly rate $160/hour
- stand by rate $80/hour
- 18 hour days are available
- North 60 rules
- Truck is required, trailers are available
- general maintenance skills are an assett
- Satellite or Starlink phone is required
Contract length: 6 months Salary: $160.00 per hour Flexible Language Requirement:
- French not required
- 12 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability
- Whitehorse, YT: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
- Class 1 Licence (preferred)
- Day Shift (preferred)
