Job Description

Phylax Security is urgently hiring an experienced and reliable Security Guard to monitor and protect an active construction site in Embrun, Ontario. Guards will be responsible for monitoring, equipment watch, and perimeter patrols

We are looking for candidates who can start immediately.

Responsibilities:



Maintain a visible security presence Patrol assigned areas and monitor for safety risks Write daily activity logs and incident reports Follow site post orders and supervisor direction De-escalate situations using communication and professionalism

Requirements:



Valid Ontario Security Guard License (required) Government-issued Photo ID Valid G/G2 Driver's License Reliable vehicle to travel to site Must be able to start ASAP Ability to stand, walk and patrol for extended periods Professional appearance and communication

Compensation:



Rate varies based on site assignment, shift type, and guard certification level.

Positions available for:



Full-time Part-time Evening / Overnight / Weekends shifts

Bi-Weekly pay Consistent shifts (no on-call scrambling) Supportive supervision & management Opportunity to move into Tactical or Mobile Patrol roles
