Responsibilities

Prepare and bake a variety of food items, including cakes and pastries, according to established recipes and standards. Decorate cakes with creativity and precision to meet customer specifications. Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety regulations and standards. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with patrons and addressing their needs effectively. Assist in packaging finished products for sale or delivery, ensuring presentation meets quality standards. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, adhering to health and safety guidelines. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations and timely service delivery. Participate in inventory management, including ordering supplies as needed.

Qualifications

Proven experience in the food industry, particularly in baking or cooking roles. Strong skills in cake decorating with an eye for detail and creativity. Familiarity with food preparation techniques and kitchen equipment. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members. Knowledge of food safety practices and proper handling techniques. Previous restaurant experience is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate.
