We are seeking a passionate and skilled overnight Baker to join our team with own transportation. No transit available for our location. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and handling, with a focus on creating high-quality baked goods. This role requires creativity, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment. As a Baker, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional products that delight our customers.
Duties
Prepare and bake a variety of goods including bread, pastries, cakes, and cookies.
Follow recipes accurately to ensure consistency and quality of products.
Decorate cakes and other baked items with creativity and attention to detail.
Package finished products for display or sale, ensuring they meet presentation standards.
Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area, adhering to food safety regulations.
Assist with inventory management by monitoring stock levels of ingredients and supplies.
Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers and addressing their inquiries about baked goods.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Baker or in a similar role within the food industry or restaurant setting.
Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and food handling practices.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high-quality standards.
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with team members and customers.
Creativity in cake decorating and presentation of baked goods is highly desirable.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including early mornings or weekends as needed.
