Location: Sultan Ahmet Turkish Cuisine, Mississauga East - 5835 Dixie Road

Job Type: Full-Time

Salary: $40,000 - $75,000 per year

Sultan Ahmet Turkish Cuisine is one of Canada's highest-rated Turkish restaurants, known for authentic flavors and exceptional service. We are seeking a skilled and experienced Oven Chef to join our busy kitchen and handle the preparation of Turkish Pide, Lahmacun, bread, and Pide toppings.

Key Responsibilities

:

Prepare, bake, and deliver high-quality Turkish Pide, Lahmacun, and bread.

Handle Pide toppings with consistency and attention to detail.

Operate and maintain ovens efficiently during high-pressure service hours.

Follow recipes precisely to ensure consistent taste and presentation.

Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the oven station.

Strong knowledge of dough preparation, proofing, shaping, and baking

Ability to make:

Fresh bread Pide (Turkish-style flatbread) Other bakery items as needed Understanding of baking temperatures, timing, and consistency control Ability to work with commercial ovens and bakery equipment Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Strong attention to detail and quality Reliable, punctual, and responsible Ability to work early mornings, weekends, or evenings if required Team player with good communication skills Physically able to stand long hours and lift bakery trays/bags of flour when needed

What We're Looking For:

Proven experience as an Oven Chef or in a similar role.

Expertise in Turkish Pide, Lahmacun, and bread preparation.

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure kitchen environment.

Functional English communication skills.

Reliability, punctuality, and attention to detail.
