About the Role

We are looking for a permanent, full time

Yard Customer Service Representative

with

forklift experience

to support our team in the

afternoons

,

nights

, and

Saturdays

at our Leaside location located at

31 Industrial Street

.

The person in this role will support the Concrete team loading the trucks with stone and sand and other aggregates using a front end loader, and they may service customers in the yard by loading and unloading materials, and support proactive movement of materials on the premises and yard maintenance. May also be required to act as spotter for trucks and to support the creation bags of aggregates.

Requirements

Must have valid forklift certificate

Front end loader experience considered an asset Highly flexible, with solid interpersonal skills to work in a diverse environment Comfortable in a fast-paced environment Excellent customer service skills Able to work independently and as a collaborative team

Working Conditions

Monday to Friday working around 8:00 am to evenings - end time depends on customer demands, but can be as late as 8:00-11:00 pm Saturdays from 7:00 am to at least 1:00 pm, but may be as late as 4:00 pm or later depending on customer demand Rotating day off May be asked to support earlier morning shifts that start as early as 6:15 am during busy Spring to Fall season, depending on business or staffing demands Overtime Interaction with customers/clients, and the public at large Lifting, moving, or manipulating objects up to 80-100 lbs. Extended periods of standing Hazards associated with conducting work outdoors (sun, rain, fog, wind, snow, etc.) High noise levels Regular exposure to conditions including heat, humidity, and dust Repetitive work Use of required personal protective equipment -

must have safety boots (CSA Green triangle patch and CSA White rectangle with orange Greek letter omega - ?)
