City Clean is seeking a full-time Outside Sales Representative to focus on new business-to-business account development in the GTA area.
Founded in 1972, City Clean has been providing mat and facility rental services to its customers in Southern Ontario for 50+ years. City Clean provides safe and environmentally conscious products and facility services for a variety of industries, including healthcare, warehousing, property management and commercial spaces.
Reporting to the Sales Manager, the ideal candidate will be driven individuals with a "hunter" mentality.
Our ideal candidate must have had great success with B2B sales, experience in phone and face-to-face cold calling, lead generation, and is a great storyteller.
The Outside Sales Representative will reach their business targets through effective management and physical visits to customer sites. Integrity, attention to detail and in-person presentation skills are essential for this role, along with a strong track record.
Responsibilities
Developing sales opportunities by researching and identifying potential customers, and soliciting leads to increase sales numbers and customer base via cold calling and prospecting.
Continually research, contact, and qualify prospects that fit our target customer profile.
Gather and utilize business intelligence on prospects to support sales calls, product presentations and new business.
Be present on site for weekly Sales meetings and training in person at office location (Shawson Drive in Mississauga).
Meet and/or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales quotas.
Respond to sales inquiries and meet with potential customers to identify needs.
Daily visits to Clients and back to the office to wrap up office work, etc.
Responsible for staying up to date on product knowledge and changes in company policies.
Transport product samples for sales presentations.
Ensure accurate reporting of key activities, update information in CRM database and other company database platforms.
Communicate pipeline forecasts to the Sales Manager.
Build and maintain strong relationships with potential customers and all departmental teams.
Adhere to all City Clean values, policies, procedures, and protocols.
Other duties as required.

A self-motivated, results-driven, sales expert.
A background in prospecting and closing of new business.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal).
Exhibits polite and professional communication via phone, e-mail, and in person.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Good time management and organizational skills with the ability to work independently.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent (GED), post-secondary education in Sales, Business Management or a related discipline is considered an asset.
Minimum 3-5 years of outside B2B sales experience required.
Experience with contract selling is an asset.
Experience working in a similar industry is an asset.
Previous experience prospecting and cold calling.
Proven track record of meeting sales targets.
Proficient in MS Office Suite programs.
Valid G driver's licence and reliable transportation required.
