RS Breakers & Controls is an Original Equipment Supplier and we are dedicated to providing excellent customer service by providing customized solutions. Our 35,000 square foot warehouse stocks over 100,000 products including MCC Wrapper/Buckets, Panel Switches, Circuit Breakers, Bus Plugs, Distribution Panel Boards, and so much more. We stock products of all amperages and voltages to serve residential, commercial, and industrial needs. We are seeking an Outside Sales Representative for the Northern Ontario region focusing on the mining and other industries to support our growth. The Position The Outside Sales Representative will be based in St. John\'s, Newfoundland and Labrador. In this role you will be responsible for bringing in clients and closing significant transactions to bring growth to RS Breakers in the region of Canada. Reports to This position will report to the Owner/President
Primary functions

  • Identify new business opportunities to drive sales growth.
  • Understand the needs of the company\'s customers to advise them and establish trust to promote the company\'s offering.
  • Provide product quotes.
  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with customers to increase satisfaction and the retention rate.
  • Drive sales growth with new customers by applying a prospecting, qualification, and follow up process to offer the company\'s products.
  • Work in close relationship with the warehouse team to coordinate inventory.
  • Keep abreast of the company\'s products and prices, in addition to those of the company\'s competitors.
  • Provide a periodic reports and updates including maintaining applicable systems and sales pipeline.
Provide ongoing report on sales development and ongoing activities in the assigned region.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor\'s degree in business administration or equivalent
  • At least 5 years of sales experience in related products with a track record of consistently meeting sales targets.
  • Business acumen and results driven approach.
  • Exceptional customer service skills.
  • Ability to develop and maintain business relationships with potential and existing customers.
  • Ability to identify good opportunities and follow up.
  • Good knowledge of electrical control and related products
  • Proficiency with technology (e.g., the MS Office suite, inventory management systems, etc.)
  • Experience using a CRM - e.g. Salesforce, MS Dynamics, etc.
  • Valid Driver\'s License and ability to travel inside the sales territory assigned and surrounding area.
