Role Description
This is a full-time remote role for an Outside Sales Representative located in Montreal, QC. The primary responsibilities include visiting customers on a regular cadence, conducting sales presentations, building and maintaining relationships with clients, providing excellent customer service, and developing new business opportunities for the entire province of Quebec. The role requires extensive interaction with clients to understand their needs and present appropriate solutions to drive sales and growth.
Main Responsibilities.
Develop customer relationships driving growth for Dealer Source
Respond to clients' requests, inquiries, and complaints and ensure maximum goodwill from all transactions.
Work closely with sales management developing and executing business plans and strategic initiatives.
Collaborating with Vice President Sales for effective territory management and growth
Visiting existing customer & target customer branches up to 4 days a week ( Occasional overnight travel throughout the year)
Promoting during branch visits Dealer Source's Value Proposition along with product categories offered. This is to include marketing collateral disbursement, oral communication and where appropriate "lunch and learn" presentations
Sales efforts are to include effective relationship mapping and development with all pertinent decision makers and influencers up to branch and mid level management
Direct sales opportunities and quote requests to the Dealer Source Inside Sales Team for troubleshooting, quoting and solutions delivery
Execute sales objectives created by sales management driving quota attainment for sales territory in support of corporate objectives.
Having office time per week for planning / managing upcoming branch visits, phone outreach and follow ups
Reporting daily into Dealer Source Salesforce CRM all branch visits activity
May be modified from time to time. Other duties, tasks and work may be assigned
Required Skills
Qualifications
Prior experience in the electrical distribution industry is a plus
Knowledge of electrical products and applications an asset (wiring, fuses, breakers, switchgear, controls, etc.).
Sales Presentations and New Business Development skills
Account management skills: building and maintaining relationships with clients
Excellent Customer Service skills: able to solve problems and add value beyond just pricing
Excellent communication skills (both technical and commercial).
Organized and disciplined with time management, follow-ups, and travel schedules.
Self-motivated and results-driven; comfortable working independently in the field.
Team player: collaborates well with the inside team
Comfortable interacting with a variety of people/ environments
Proficient with MS Office including Outlook, Excel, Word and Powerpoint.
CRM/Salesforce proficiency (or similar platforms) for managing pipelines and reporting.
High school diploma or college degree (business, sales, or related fields preferred)
Valid driver's license (frequent travel to customer sites).
