The ideal candidate is a self-starter with strong communication skills, a proven ability to build lasting client relationships, and a passion for driving new business. This role focuses on prospecting, qualifying leads, conducting facility walkthroughs, and closing contracts for janitorial and building maintenance services across commercial, industrial, and institutional markets.
Key Responsibilities
Hunt, Prospect & Develop New Business
+ Identify, research, and pursue new sales opportunities within target markets.
+ Cold call, network, and leverage existing contacts to generate qualified leads.
+ Conduct on-site facility assessments and prepare customized service proposals.
+ Attend sales functions, marketing events and represent the company at local/regional trade shows.
+ Use tools such as LinkedIn Sales Navigator and Zoom Info to Research Decision Makers to find the right contacts (title, authority, budget, need, timeline).
Sales Process & Reporting
+ Prepare professional quotes, RFP responses, and presentations tailored to client needs.
+ Maintain accurate records of leads, opportunities, sales activities, wins and losses in CRM software.
+ Achieve or exceed monthly and annual sales targets.
Market Intelligence
+ Monitor competitor activity and market trends.
+ Provide feedback to management on opportunities for service innovation or improvement.
Qualifications
Ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of outside sales experience, preferably in janitorial, facility services, or related B2B industries.
Strong understanding of contract cleaning services and client procurement processes.
Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Proven ability to manage the entire sales cycle independently.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (travel required within assigned territory).
