Outside Sales Hunter
(Edmonton) - highly motivated self-starter to actively prospect, develop, and close new business opportunities. This is a fast-paced role suited for a self-starter with a strong sales background who thrives on securing new accounts and building lasting client relationships.

Responsibilities for this Role:
Proactively identify and develop new business opportunities within assigned territories.
Generate leads through cold calling, networking, and direct sales efforts.
Build strong relationships with potential local business clients and major accounts to understand their waste and recycling needs.
Negotiate contracts, pricing, and service agreements.
Collaborate with internal teams (operations, customer service, etc.) to ensure seamless client onboarding.
Meet or exceed sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs).
Maintain accurate records of sales activities in CRM software.
Stay up to date on industry trends, regulations, and competitor activity.
Qualifications & Skills
3+ years of experience in
outside sales
, preferably in
waste management
,
construction
, or
industrial services
.
Proven track record of
hunting
and securing new business.
Strong negotiation and closing skills.
Ability to work independently and manage a sales pipeline effectively.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Valid driver's license with a clean record and willingness to travel within assigned territory.
Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
