Position Overview

As an

Outside Sales Representative / Home Health Consultant

, you will represent Abbey Medical Supplies in the community, working closely with occupational therapists, healthcare providers, and individual clients. Your role will focus on building strong relationships, identifying client needs, and ensuring they receive the equipment that best supports their independence and quality of life.

This is a customer-focused sales role with a strong consultative approach, combining business development, client care, and hands-on equipment support.

Key Responsibilities

Follow up on leads provided by the office while also generating new opportunities. Build and maintain strong relationships with healthcare professionals, care facilities, vendors, and clients. Conduct equipment presentations, demonstrations, and trials to ensure clients find the best fit for their needs. Write quotes, deliver equipment, and provide basic adjustments or minor repairs as needed. Meet or exceed sales goals through effective territory management and relationship-building. Collaborate with internal teams (customer service, service technicians, and management) to ensure seamless client support. Represent Abbey Medical Supplies at community events, trade shows, and networking opportunities.
Requirements

Proven sales experience (medical supply, healthcare, or related industry experience is an asset). Experience in home health consulting or working with mobility equipment is considered an asset. Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build trust quickly. Ability to work independently, plan your own schedule, and manage multiple priorities.

Must own a minivan

for transporting and delivering equipment (this is a firm requirement). Comfort with completing minor equipment adjustments and repairs (training provided). Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with CRM systems preferred.
