Position Summary



Kinnikinnick Foods is seeking a driven and results-oriented

Outside Sales Representative

to join our team, working remotely from Edmonton, Calgary or Toronto. In this role, you will be responsible for driving new business growth while strengthening existing customer relationships. You will identify and secure new opportunities, deliver tailored product presentations, and exceed revenue targets by showcasing the value of our specialty Gluten Free food products.

Skills Required



Proven track record of consistently exceeding sales quotas and driving revenue growth

Strong prospecting and business development skills

Exceptional negotiation, communication, and presentation skills

Self-starter with the ability to work independently, prioritize effectively, and deliver

results

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with data-driven decision-making

Proficiency in CRM systems and pipeline management, with disciplined follow-up

Knowledge of the food manufacturing or specialty food industry (asset but not required)

Valid Canadian passport an asset

Duties



Generate new revenue by identifying, qualifying, and closing new business opportunities within assigned territories (Edmonton, Calgary, Toronto)

Conduct a minimum number of prospecting activities weekly (e.g., cold calls, virtual/in-person meetings, networking) to ensure a strong pipeline

Deliver compelling sales presentations, product demonstrations, and proposals tailored to client needs

Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts while maintaining profitability and adhering to company policies

Maintain and grow existing accounts

Provide timely and accurate sales forecasts, pipeline updates, and activity reports

Represent the company at industry trade shows, customer events, and networking opportunities to generate leads and strengthen brand presence

Partner with internal teams (marketing, operations, customer service) to ensure seamless delivery and customer satisfaction

Work Environment



Remote role based in Edmonton, Calgary, or Toronto

Frequent in-person client visits within assigned territory

Occasional travel to trade shows, conferences, and corporate meetings

Work Schedule



Full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday

Core business hours with flexibility to accommodate client schedules

Occasional evening or weekend commitments for events or client needs
