The Role

We are seeking a driven Outside Sales Engineer to expand sales of automation and motion control products within Milton, Brampton, North Bay, and surrounding areas. This is a client-facing role that requires strong technical knowledge, sales acumen, and the ability to build lasting relationships with manufacturers, system integrators, and end-users.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and grow business opportunities for automation and motion control products within the assigned territory. Build strong relationships with new and existing clients, providing technical expertise and tailored solutions. Conduct onsite visits, product presentations, and demonstrations to showcase value. Collaborate with technical support, suppliers, and internal teams to meet customer needs. Manage all aspects of the sales cycle including prospecting, proposals, and closing. Achieve and exceed assigned sales targets.

Qualifications

Degree or diploma in Engineering, Automation, Mechatronics, or related field (or equivalent experience). 2-3+ years of outside sales experience in automation, motion control, robotics, or related industries. Strong technical understanding of automation and motion control solutions. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Self-motivated, results-oriented, and comfortable working independently. Willingness to travel throughout Milton, Brampton, North Bay, and surrounding regions. Valid driver's licence.
