Goals and Key Results:



Diversify Norquest's market exposure, expanding our sales into new industrial sectors. Enlarge our Customer List quantitatively by targets assessed with management each year. Increase sales in general by a target assessed with management each year. Positively impact Norquest's exposure and reputation in target Industrial Sectors generally.

Responsibilities and Key Tasks:



Identify new Customer prospects in target markets assessed with Management:

Assess 'best fits' for Norquest's service and manufacturing envelope. Seek financially stable potential Customers with best potential margins. Preferentially target prospects with stable manufacturing demand, who do not have there own or sufficient manufacturing capacity. Focus on diversifying the industries that Norquest supplies. Attend trade shows and conferences when required to facilitate sales.
Identify the right contacts within these companies:

Identify the right personnel in these companies who can actually effect purchasing decisions and direct work to Norquest. Establish and develop direct communication with these contacts: Navigate 'Gate Keepers' and establish direct contact with purchasing personnel. Come to understand the prospect Customer's 'pain', and network with resources at Norquest to develop marketable solutions. Review customer product needs to determine sales opportunities. Demonstrate compellingly Norquest products and services. Win opportunities to quote potential new Customers.
Maintain New Customer Relations:

Continue to liaise between new Customers and Norquest. Schedule and keep regular appointments with developing customers. Monitor Norquest's Quote Log and Quote Performance Metrics. Follow up on quotes personally, and communicate observations to the Quoting Group. Conduct regular surveys (however formal or informal as fits the Customer) as to Customer satisfaction and Norquest performance. Maintain metrics on new Customer satisfaction. Oversee and follow through on Customer complaints pertaining to developing Customers. Maintain ongoing communications with developing customers. Continuously update all Customers on new capabilities and capacity. Maintain an up-to-date Customer Contact List reflecting staff movements and changes.
Internal Processes:

Be diligent in understanding Norquest's capabilities, products and services. Keep up to date on new products, services, procedures and tools by attending training and departmental meetings. Assist in developing and implementing marketing plans and sales quotas. Maintain an accurate Sales Log and Contact History. Maintain and report accurate sales metrics and results. Prepare reports for Senior Management. Liaise between the Customer and the quoting personnel on corrective quoting strategies. Liaise between the Customer and the Customer Order Management Department with respect to Customer satisfaction and Corrective Actions.
General:

Promote Norquest's standing and reputation in target industrial sectors. Comply with all HSE, QMS and Corporate policies at Norquest. Other duties as assigned by supervisors.

Core skills / Qualifications:



Minimum 3-5 years related experience. Familiarity with Manufacturing Industry and machine shop processes. Facility in reading manufacturing drawings. Excellent social skills. Excellent communication skills. Skills in negotiating and problem solving. Highly motivated and enthusiastic. Independent and self motivated. Comes with well established Customer List in a broad and diverse range of industries. References testifying to a high level of integrity and honesty. Good organizational skills and record keeping. Familiarity with Customer Relationship Management Software.

Term:



One year contract, renewable indefinitely upon satisfactory performance.

Compensation:



Base salary + results based compensation
