The ideal candidate is passionate about helping clients restore mobility, alleviate pain, and improve overall function through osteopathic manual techniques. You'll work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals--including physiotherapists, chiropractors, massage therapists, and social workers--to deliver holistic, patient-centered care.
This position involves providing services
twice a week
, working between our
two clinic locations
in Brampton and Scarborough to serve a diverse patient base.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history, posture analysis, and movement evaluation.
Develop and implement individualized osteopathic treatment plans to address musculoskeletal issues and promote optimal body function.
Apply manual therapy techniques such as soft tissue manipulation, joint mobilization, and cranial-sacral therapy where appropriate.
Educate patients on posture, ergonomics, and preventative exercises to support ongoing wellness.
Maintain detailed and accurate clinical documentation in compliance with professional and clinic standards.
Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to support integrated care and positive patient outcomes.
Contribute to a positive clinic environment through professionalism, communication, and patient care excellence.
Qualifications & Requirements
Education:
Diploma or degree in
Osteopathic Manual Practice
from a recognized and accredited osteopathy program.
Registration:
Must be a
member in good standing with the Ontario Association of Osteopathic Manual Practitioners (OAO)
or another recognized professional association.
Must carry
professional liability insurance
.
Experience:
Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience preferred, ideally in a multidisciplinary or rehabilitation setting.
Skills & Attributes:
Strong understanding of anatomy, biomechanics, and musculoskeletal health.
Excellent manual therapy and assessment skills.
Compassionate and patient-focused with strong communication skills.
Ability to manage time effectively between two clinic locations.
Collaborative approach to patient care.
Work Schedule
Part-Time:
2 days per week (Tuesday and Thursday 10AM to 7PM).
Required to work at
two clinic locations
within the GTA in Scarborough and Brampton clinics.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $48.00-$50.00 per hour
Expected hours: 18 per week
