Position Summary:
We are currently seeking a skilled and compassionate Osteopathic Manual Therapist with a passion for holistic and somatic-based healing to join our interdisciplinary team. This role is ideal for a practitioner who recognizes the intimate relationship between the body's structure and its function, and who works with gentle, intuitive techniques to restore alignment, movement, and nervous system balance. You'll work with clients experiencing chronic pain, postural imbalances, trauma-related tension, and functional disorders.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide osteopathic assessments and manual treatments that support structural, visceral, and craniosacral health. Collaborate with a team of psychologists, naturopaths, and somatic therapists to co-create comprehensive care plans. Educate clients about the connection between posture, stress, trauma, and physical symptoms using a body-mind perspective. Support nervous system regulation and trauma resolution through gentle, non-invasive hands-on techniques. Maintain detailed clinical documentation in accordance with professional and clinic standards. Stay informed about current developments in osteopathy and integrative wellness.
Qualifications:

Diploma or degree in Manual Osteopathy from a recognized institution. Member in good standing with an Alberta-recognized osteopathic association (e.g., CMMOTA, NHPC, ACMA) and eligible for insurance billing. Strong clinical skills in osteopathic assessment and treatment, including craniosacral, myofascial, and visceral manipulation. Interest in or experience with somatic or trauma-informed approaches to care. Client-centered philosophy with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Assets (Preferred but Not Required):

Additional training in somatic therapies, trauma-informed care, or nervous system regulation. Experience working with clients recovering from chronic stress, burnout, or trauma. Familiarity with integrative practices such as breathwork, yoga, or energy medicine. Comfort participating in cross-disciplinary case consultations.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $75.00-$220.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8 - 15 per week
