Orthotic Prosthetic Technician - Veterinary

K-9 Orthotics & Prosthetics, Inc is seeking resumes from qualified applicants for a technical position to work at our manufacturing facility. The position is Full Time, Monday to Friday. Candidates must be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or holder of a valid work permit.

Technical and clinical skills required:

- basic skills; riveting, cutting, gluing,

- thermoformed and thermoset plastics,

- including fine finish work,

- industrial sewing experience preferred,

- cast pouring,

- foresight and troubleshooting,

- orthotic and prosthetic production,

- pediatric clinical and technical experience as asset.

Salary is commensurate with experience and to be negotiated.

Must be willing to work hands on with companion animals occasionally, mainly dogs. Veterinary experience is not required, but will be considered an asset. As the facility is outside of a public transit area, a reliable vehicle is required.

Candidates should have examples of their work available to be viewed. Only those with prior orthotic or prosthetic manufacturing experience will be considered.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $18.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
