Job Description
The Registered Orthopedic Technician utilizes expert comprehensive skills to assess, plan and coordinate the evaluation of the patient using nursing knowledge and application and removal of casts, splints and traction apparatus. The incumbent will provide quality patient care through implementation, coordination, consultation, education and liaising with the interdisciplinary team. The Registered Orthopedic Technician acts as a resource to other health care professionals.
