Job Description

We are currently seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Orthodontic Lab model room/retainer assistant to join our dental laboratory team. This position is ideal for someone with hands-on experience in model preparation and a strong understanding of dental lab workflows.

Key Responsibilities:

Mix plaster and pour dental models with precision and consistency. Pour materials into molds and plaster casts to create accurate dental impressions. Trim and finish dental models to meet quality standards. Mount and articulate models according to case specifications and dental anatomy. Maintain a clean and organized work area to support efficient production. Collaborate with other lab technicians and departments to ensure timely case completion.
Qualifications:

Previous experience in a dental lab or model room setting an asset. Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity. Ability to follow instructions and work independently. Familiarity with dental terminology and lab equipment is an asset. Collaborate with dental professionals to ensure the accuracy of prescriptions and specifications. Maintain a clean and organized laboratory environment, adhering to safety protocols. Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet established standards. Learn and Utilize CAD/cam software and machines.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00-$17.50 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
