Orthodontic Assistant

to join our growing team and help us continue providing the best in orthodontic care.

Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated

Orthodontic Assistant

to play a key role in our practice. NO EXPERIENCE NEEDED- We'd love to train you chairside and introduce you to the wonderful world of orthodontics! As an integral member of our team, you will assist our orthodontists during a variety of procedures, educate and support patients, and help ensure that our practice operates smoothly and efficiently. Your role will involve direct patient care, preparation of treatment rooms, and supporting the orthodontic team in creating beautiful smiles!

Key Responsibilities:

Assist Orthodontists

: Provide chairside support during orthodontic examinations and procedures.

Prepare Treatment Rooms

: Set up for patient procedures and ensure a clean, organized workspace.

Patient Education

: Teach patients proper oral hygiene practices and provide care instructions for their orthodontic appliances.

Radiographs

: Take and develop dental X-rays as needed.

Patient Records

: Manage and update patient records and medical histories with precision.

Software Use

: Utilize

Orthotrac

software for patient charting and scheduling (knowledge of the software is a plus).

Team Collaboration

: Work closely with the orthodontic team to ensure efficient patient flow and smooth operation.

Emergency Support

: Assist with orthodontic emergencies when needed.

Qualifications:

Previous Experience

in orthodontics (including experience with orthodontic modules) is required. Proficiency in

medical terminology

related to orthodontics.

Orthotrac software

experience is an asset. Ability to thrive in a

fast-paced

environment while maintaining high-quality care and attention to detail. A genuine

passion for working with pediatric patients

and providing excellent customer service.
