We\'re looking for an Organizational Design Specialist to support our Talent Management Team!

Reporting to the Manager, Total Rewards and Organizational Design your focus will be on understanding the main business processes of the organization. This role proactively partners with the business to complete strategic Organizational Design work to deliver business results by providing advice and counsel on restructuring new positions, organizational design structures and opportunities within our internal logics of the organization.

As the Organizational Design Specialist, you will collaborate with teams to optimize departmental effectiveness, align with corporate strategy, and achieve business goals. You will offer expertise in Organization Design, Job Evaluation, and partner with compensation and benefits to ensure system alignment, while aiming improve efficiency, effectiveness, and successful implementation.

More specifically, the scope of your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Provide advice on organizational design, organization systems, job design, and job evaluation matters
  • Contribute organization design and job evaluation expertise in the development of new evaluation plans and corporate initiatives impacting organization structures such as reorganization initiatives, job design and descriptions.
  • Support and link centralized talent offerings in conducting talent review assessments, talent segmentation including top talent, and participating in succession planning to drive consistency and alignment with business objectives.
  • Partner with Talent Development to support learning and developing initiatives, to include; leadership assessments, implementations, leadership behaviors and collaborate on solutions to drive adoption of programs
  • Analyze business structures, procedures, processes and the utilization of resources
  • Plan, manage, and forecast the optimal workforce plan, including the correct staffing mix across the company and within business units
  • Leverage in-depth knowledge of clients\' business direction, priorities, and issues to optimize organizational design and effectiveness while remaining aligned with overall company direction, priorities and initiatives
Requirements:

To qualify, you\'ll need at least the following:
  • A post-secondary diploma or degree in Business, Human Resources, Organizational Development or equivalent
  • Minimum 5 - 8 years\' experience in a similar role as an organizational development specialist
  • Demonstrated experience in designing, implementing, and delivering programs
  • Strong analytical, decision making and problem-solving skills
  • Proven ability to effectively plan, organize and manage
  • Superb time-management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple ongoing projects simultaneously and adapt to changing priorities
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as an effective team member
Although not required, the following experience and education/certifications are valuable assets:
  • Licensed or accredited in assessment instruments and protocols is desirable
  • ODCP/CPLP certification
  • Knowledge of Avanti HRIS
  • Exceptional interpersonal communication
