Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Order Taker to join our team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for customer service and a strong background in the food industry. As an Order Taker, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service while accurately processing their orders.

Duties

Greet customers warmly and take their food and beverage orders efficiently. Provide detailed information about menu items, including ingredients and preparation methods. Process orders accurately using the point-of-sale system. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate food preparation. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the order-taking area. Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints professionally. Adhere to all food safety and hygiene standards during food handling and preparation. Assist in other areas of the restaurant as needed, including serving and food preparation.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests. Familiarity with food handling and safety regulations is essential. Experience as a barista or in hospitality is a plus. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. A positive attitude and willingness to learn are key attributes for success in this role.
