Order Processing Clerk

Our Client is looking to add a full-time Order Processing Clerk for our Canadian branch in Edmonton, AB. We are seeking an organized and highly customer focused individual to join our team.

Our Company

Our client is a globally operating trading company and specialist in steel pipe and tube applications. We offer a broad range of pipe and tube products and customized services using a worldwide network of stock-keeping branches. Each day our employees apply their knowledge of sourcing, project management, logistics and stock planning on behalf of customers in the Industry and Energy markets.

Job Summary

Process incoming and outgoing material shipments

Proof and tally picked orders to verify materials and quantities

Pull and print corresponding MTR documentation

Prepare all backorders and cancellations

Prioritize pick tickets for warehouse staff

Match documentation for filing

Co-ordinate and liaise with vendors, customers, and internal staff

Ad hoc administrative duties as required

Requirements and Qualifications

High School Diploma

Ability to work under pressure in a fast paced environment

Accurate data entry and typing skills

Strongly customer service oriented

Experienced with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Knowledge of MTRs, SAP Business One, and Metal Trace considered an asset
