As an Order Picker/Inventory Associate at our health food restaurant, you will be responsible for accurately selecting and packing food and supply orders for our kitchen. Your primary duties will include picking items from warehouse shelves, managing inventory levels, and ensuring the quality and freshness of all products in our storage facility.
Responsibilities:
Order Picking & Preparation:
Accurately and efficiently pick restaurant orders using pick sheets, digital orders, or RF scanners.
Assemble and palletize orders with care, ensuring proper stacking and separation to prevent damage to delicate items.
Prepare orders for timely dispatch to the restaurant, coordinating with delivery schedules.
Inventory Management & Control:
Conduct regular cycle counts and full physical inventory audits to maintain high data integrity.
Monitor stock levels and proactively report shortages or surpluses to the manager.
Quality & Safety Compliance:
Identify and remove any damaged, expired, or sub-standard products from inventory immediately.
Follow all personal hygiene and safety protocols required in a food-handling environment.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Basic computer skills.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling orders.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $21.83-$25.81 per hour
