Order Picker - Oak Bluff Branch

As a valuable member of our truss plant team your duties will include:

Cutting and packing of engineered wood product (I joists and beams) floor systems to customer specifications Ensures all paperwork is accurate and completed in a timely manner Communicates to management and staff any changes to orders or issues Cleans yard of dunnage, banding and garbage as required to maintain a clean and safe work environment Assists the Shipper Receiver as required Provides assistance to production workers as required Assists cycle counts and annual inventory count
The successful candidate will:

Have a safety mindset and demonstrate high attention to detail Be physically able to repeatedly, stand, walk and lift/carry over 50lbs The ability to work in a fast paced team environment is essential Previous experience with safe operation of Chain Saws, banding equipment and forklifts would be an asset but training will be provided Steel toed safety boots are required Previous Truss manufacturing experience is an asset but not required Comply with all company policies and procedures including the Health and Safety program Hearing test required as condition of employment
