Position Summary:

The Order Picker is responsible for fulfilling orders by manually selecting products from storage areas according to printed pick lists. The role involves checking item quantities, ensuring product quality, and preparing orders for packing or delivery. This position requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining a clean and safe warehouse environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Select products based on pick lists. Ensure accuracy in item numbers, quantities, and product quality. Place picked items in appropriate containers or pallets for packing or shipping. Maintain organized shelves and storage locations. Report shortages, damages, or inventory discrepancies to the supervisor. Pack orders securely to prevent damage during transportation. Move completed orders to designated staging or loading zones. Follow company safety rules and maintain a clean, organized work area. Wear required PPE and report any unsafe conditions immediately. Coordinate with supervisors and fellow team members to meet daily pick targets. Communicate order issues, delays, or missing items promptly.

Requirements

Ability to stand for long hours and lift up to 40lbs Strong attention to detail and work ethic Comfortable working in a refrigerated/freezer environment Prior experience in warehouse, food production, or kitchen settings is an asset Positive attitude, punctuality, and reliability are musts Food Handler Certification is a bonus

Pay and Schedule

Pay: $18 to $20 Full Time 5 days a week - (Must be available on Sunday's) 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM

Compensation
