Tour Guide & Server Crossmount is a one-of-a-kind agricultural tourism destination in Saskatchewan and home to the Crossmount Cider Company. With 40 acres of land, a 15 acre apple orchard, and an all-season greenhouse surrounded by housing, the Glen is a unique outdoor experience in the province of Saskatchewan. /Position Overview: You will be working in the on-site Orchard and in the Crossmount Cider Company Tasting Room. Interacting and directing clients to the orchard where you will talk about the Agri-Tourism and the uniqueness of growing apples in Saskatchewan, the story of Crossmount and an overview of the cidery production facility in addition to the different flavour offerings of the finished product. Tours begin in the Orchard and finish in the Cidery and Tasting Room. Crossmount is looking for someone who can assist in the orchard and do orchard tours to enhance the Agri-Tourism in Saskatoon. Someone who will take pride and be personable to visitors of Crossmount and engaging with people. We are looking for a friendly, outgoing team player who would work 50% of the time on tours and 50% of the time serving patrons in the tasting room. Tours would be Friday-Sunday or Thursday-Saturday. You would be asked to do some commentary about the orchard then the process of making apple cider. Interacting with the public and having strong customer service skills is a large asset. We are looking for a knowledgeable, fun, interactive charismatic individual to join our team! You must have a passion for craft beverages, be independent, hard-working and reliable. This position will require working on weekends.
