We are currently seeking a Functional Analyst Advisor for the EBS application. The advisor is responsible for analyzing and programming patches and enhancements within the application. This resource will be supported by an existing team and will assist this team in a regulatory project.
Main Responsibilities:

  • Analyze client needs, guide them in appropriate functional solutions considering budgetary constraints and delivery deadlines. Knowledge of EBS modules (GL, AR, AP, cash, FAH, FND, HR, project, approvals, and taxes).
  • Analyze and program patches and enhancements in the Oracle EBS application.
  • Identify system optimization opportunities, monitor the evolution of information systems, and advise users on the computerization of operations, development of management and analysis tools, and system steering.
Specific Responsibilities:
  • Manage functional incidents related to applications in the expertise area.
  • Plan and manage the necessary support for tools and incident management processes.
  • Assist Business collaborators in analysis and solution finding.
  • Act as an application expert to meet business needs.
  • Ensure that documentation is up-to-date and available to the entire CESFIM team.
  • Propose innovative, simple, and efficient solutions.
  • Ensure availability in the evenings and weekends for quarterly support and implementation for our business partners.
Requirements
  • 3-5 years of experience in a technology support department in a business environment.
  • 3-5 years of experience in the EBS application (mandatory).
  • Knowledge of ITIL best practices is an asset.
  • Operational support knowledge.
  • Relevant computer knowledge level: familiarity with MS Office and ticketing systems and MOS/Oracle.
  • Expertise in handling multiple issues and priorities, demonstrated by certification and/or relevant work history.
  • Oral/written communication skills.
  • Team player.
  • Action-oriented.
