Our journey began in 1982, rooted in a vision far beyond providing clearer sight. Dr. Melanie Sherk's pioneering spirit established this haven for eye health. Over the years, she has passed the torch of dedication through generations of expert optometrists from Drs. Anderson, and Ertel to the current leadership of Drs. Curry, Donaldson, Grewal, Jarvis, and Snow.
We pride ourselves on being early adopters of breakthrough technologies like Optos/Optomap retinal imaging, setting benchmarks in eye care precision. Our ongoing participation in industry conferences across North America keeps us at the forefront of the latest advancements.
Our Passion
Our heart extends beyond eye care. We've been leading sponsors for initiatives like the Peace Arch Hospital Pumpkin Run and the "In Her Shoes" fashion show. Our establishment of the Sources Women's Place Vision Care Program and contributions to international causes reflect our dedication to global and local community well-being.
In addition to that, we've shown great commitment to sustainability with initiatives such as the contact lens recycling program, paperless record-keeping, and energy-efficient practices.
Our Commitment
Patient education is central to our ethos. We strive to empower you with knowledge, ensuring you understand your eye health through clear communication, visual aids, and interactive discussions.
A Family-like Office Culture
Our familial office culture, reflective of the tight-knit White Rock community, sets us apart. We cherish this atmosphere of familiarity and camaraderie, creating a welcoming environment for patients and staff.
Join us at White Rock Optometry, where we merge cutting-edge eye care with a heart for the community, set against the backdrop of our stunning coastal location. We look forward to welcoming you into our dedicated eye care family.
