We are a patient-focused optometry practice looking for a
motivated, caring, and detail-oriented Optometric Assistant & Sales Associate
to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys both patient care and retail sales in a professional healthcare environment.Responsibilities
Welcome and assist patients with warmth and professionalism Perform pre-testing and assist the optometrist during exams Support contact lens fittings and patient education Assist patients in selecting frames and lenses that meet their needs Process sales, payments, insurance, and appointments Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing showroom Handle administrative tasks as needed
Qualifications
Experience in optometry, optical, or healthcare (preferred but not required) Strong customer service and sales skills Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Organized, reliable, and comfortable multitasking Bilingual (French/English) is an asset Willingness to learn and grow within the practice
