What we are looking for

We are looking to fill a full time position for Sales Associate / Optometric Assistant. Our ideal candidate will be energetic, approachable, able to learn quickly, willing to understand and take direction, able to work in a team environment, someone who pays attention to detail and has great customer service and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

Sales Reception and administrative duties including scheduling, faxing, scanning, answering all incoming calls and emails Pre-testing patients using office equipment (autorefractor, lensometer, Humphrey Visual Field Analyzer, Cirrus OCT Analyzer, Lipiscan and Lipiflow) Perform a contact lens teach Frame styling along with adjustments and measurements Lens verification Frame repairs Patient consultation on lens technology Patient consultation on contact lens use as well as wear and care Enter and monitor lab and contact lens orders Maintain office appearance and cleanliness Participate in personal and team development training, meetings and continuing education Maintain professional attendance, punctuality, personal appearance, hygiene and adhere to relevant health and safety procedures Flexible to support at other locations as needed

Qualifications

Optometric office experience an asset Sales experience and asset Must be able to maintain a 40 hour workweek spanning but not limited to Tuesday through Saturday

Office Hours

8:30 am - 5:30 pm Tuesday - Friday 8:30 am - 3:00 pm Saturday

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $20.00-$22.00 per hour
