Clear Vision Eye Care - Dr. Aneela Gillani and Associates is seeking a

dedicated, enthusiastic, and detail-oriented Optometric Assistant

Job Overview:

As an Optometric Assistant, you will play an essential role in supporting our optometrists and enhancing the overall patient experience. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for eye care. Experience with electronic medical records, optometry terminology, and optical sales is highly valued.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct pretesting and document patient information accurately in electronic medical records Answer phones, book appointments, and manage front desk operations including patient check-ins Educate patients on contact lens care and eyewear options Assist with frame selection, measurements, and dispensing of eyewear Recommend suitable eyewear based on patients' needs and preferences Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant clinical environment Collaborate closely with the optometric team to ensure excellent patient care

Requirements:

Strong customer service and interpersonal skills Experience with EMR systems Background in patient care, preferably in an optometry clinic setting Previous experience in a front desk is highly desirable Retail sales experience is a benefit for assisting with eyewear recommendations Ability to multitask efficiently and work well in a team-oriented environment
