Optometric Assistant
Job Description
Acuity Eye Care is seeking an optometric assistant to work 32 to 40 hours per week.
Our ideal candidate is friendly, compassionate and able to multi-task. Having the ability to compassionately and effectively communicate with patients and learn new skills is essential. Experience in a professional or medical work place setting is preferred, but not required. Must have reliable transportation.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to educating patients on options and differences between lenses and frames and adjusting, repairing, and selling eyeglasses. Assisting with patient pre-testing and administration duties will be required as needed.
Additional training and certification options are available for a successful job candidate interested in the field of opticianry.
Hours of operation are Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday 9-4:30 and Tuesday 9-6:30 pm.

Pay: From $20.00 per hour
