Responsibilities:
- Greet patients and provide excellent customer service
- Assist with patient check-in and check-out processes
- Schedule appointments and manage the appointment calendar
- Verify insurance coverage and process insurance claims
- Perform preliminary tests on patients, such as visual acuity and eye pressure measurements
- Assist the optometrist with various procedures and examinations
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic medical records
- Educate patients on contact lens insertion, removal, and care
- Dispense eyeglasses and contact lenses to patients
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the office
Skills:
- Previous experience in Optical and Optometry setting is a must have
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to provide exceptional patient care
- Proficiency in using electronic medical records systems
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Knowledge of front desk operations, including scheduling and insurance verification
