ull-time Optician or Optical Sales Associate to join our lively and knowledgeable crew in Cochrane or Calgary, AB! If you're someone who loves eyewear, enjoys a fast-paced environment, and has a knack for making people smile, we'd love to meet you! The core of this position is truly caring about people through your direct involvement in their vision care. We require our team to respect each person's unique personality, perspective, circumstances, and needs. Mountain View Optometry works with highly specialized premium products, services, and technologies; these allow us to provide our customers with a level of care that is second to none.

What We're Looking For:

Optical Sales Pro:

You have experience in optical retail sales. Bonus points if you are an Optician, but that is not a deal-breaker!

Tech Enthusiast:

Experience with electronic medical records systems or just thrive on high tech stuff? Perfect! Science should be your thing too!

People Person:

You're outgoing, goal-oriented, and thrive in a busy environment. Making emotional connections and putting patients first is your specialty!

Communication Whiz:

You've got excellent verbal and written skills and a keen eye for detail.

Creative Problem-Solver:

Thinking outside the box is your thing. You love tackling troubleshoots with a smile!

Fashion Forward:

You've got a flair for fashion and a love for premium frames. Style is your middle name!

Flexible:

You're open to flexible hours and excited to learn and develop your skills even more!

What You'll Be Doing:

Guide & Educate:

Help patients choose the best lenses for their vision needs. Assist customers in finding frames that match their face shape, personal style, and lifestyle..

Team Player:

Work closely with our MVO Optometrists and team to ensure top-notch care for our patients.

Eyewear Expert:

Perform fittings, measurements, repairs, and adjustments with precision and care. Have a comprehensive understanding of a vision RX along with prism and adds.

Lab Life:

Contribute to our optical lab's fun and efficient operation and help keep the MVO Optical Gallery looking fabulous. Edging abilties are a great asset!

Product Knowledge Champion:

Share, with enthusiasm, your knowledge on all things eyes along with products like contact lenses and dry eye solutions.
