Optician
Job Description
-Helping patients with selection of frames, sunglasses and appropriate lens material
-Adjusting and repairing patient's eyeglasses
-Creating patient orders and sending orders to appropriate lab
-Dispensing of eyeglasses, contact lenses insertion and remval
-Liaison with optical and frame laboratories
-Maintaining inventory of trial contact lens and solutions
-Providing initial contact lens training for patients
-Ordering lenses for Clinic
-Updating medical/patient information on internal database
-Assist in managing incoming telephone calls in professional and courteous manner
-Maintaining professional appearance of clinic by ensuring it is kept clean.Clinic cleanup - including but not limited to vacuuming, dusting, collecting and taking out garbage (as is required by all staff)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $24.00-$30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 - 40 per week
