Our optometry clinics are looking for Opticians/Sales people and Optical Assistants to join our team. The candidates for these positions must have a passion for assisting customers, be able to provide exceptional customer service and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment. We are looking to fill 2 positions: 1.Optician/ Optical Sales 2.Optical Assistant & Receptionist See below for description of each position: 1.Optician/ Optical Sales: We are looking for an enthusiastic optician or salesperson with a strong passion in fitting and handling independent, imported and fashion forward eyewear. Sales experience is required and willing to train in optical sales. Job duties include: Helping customers select frames with proper fit and styling, perform any necessary repairs or adjustments to glassea, prepare orders for the optical laboratory, ensure that all orders arrive and are to the specifications of the patient& maintaining displays. 2.Optical Assistant & Receptionist Full-time job opportunity for an optometric assistant/receptionist. Experience in an optometry office is an asset but we will gladly train the right person. Medical receptionist experience would be an asset as well. The candidate would be responsible for scheduling appointments, working one on one with patients to perform preliminary testing on optometric equipment, preparing patients to see the optometrist, answering phones, invoicing insurance companies and taking payment. Candidates should be friendly, have an interest in fashion and have good communication skills. Must enjoy teamwork and a busy, upbeat atmosphere. Some Saturdays are required for a shorter shift however there are no evening shifts and we close Saturdays on long weekends and throughout the summer. Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
