The

Optical Associate

plays a critical role within solis optics and is crucial to our success by delivering world-class service to our customers. You'll often be the first point of contact with the public, so you must bring with you your passion for people and your drive to deliver an exceptional customer experience.



This position is a

casual, part-time role

working

0-19 hours per week.

Our store is open Monday to Saturday. Open availability for all shifts is preferred.

What Will You Be Doing?

Educating clients about the best eyewear choices for their lifestyle, ensuring they receive the best in value and quality Informing customers about advances in corrective eyewear solutions as well as assisting with the selection of frames to suit your client's aesthetic and performance needs Interpreting optical prescriptions as written by an optometrist Performing frame and facial measurements to ensure correct fit and positioning of new eyewear and performing repairs and adjustments to returning customers' Submitting prescription eyewear requisitions to our manufacturing lab Arranging and maintaining retail display area Contributing to store retail sales goals

What Do You Bring?

Previous retail sales and customer service experience is ideal Passionate about customer experience; a great communicator who can provide exceptional interactions with customers Committed to excelling as a member of a high performing team Able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment Good computer knowledge, including Microsoft Office Suite

FYihealth group aims to create a comprehensive rewards package to attract and retain top talent. The expected compensation for this position is $19-$20 per hour considering factors like experience, skills, and qualifications. Base pay is just one component of our overall Total Rewards offering.
