Job Description

Atlas Structural Systems is a manufacturer specializing in the design and manufacture of pre-engineered structural systems for commercial and residential construction projects in Eastern Canada. Our integrated roof, wall, and floor systems offer proven quality and provide a great deal of benefit and value.

Key Responsibilities:

\xc2\xb7 Design cost-effective and easy to install residential and commercial roof, wall and floor systems conforming to building codes.

\xc2\xb7 Prepare engineered drawings, layouts, and job site packages.

\xc2\xb7 Provide customer service to contractors and homeowners.

\xc2\xb7 Create quotes for roof, wall, and floor systems.

\xc2\xb7 Train and assist less experienced designers.

Requirements:

\xc2\xb7 CET designation or Engineering degree is preferred.

\xc2\xb7 Minimum 2 years of structural or truss design experience.

\xc2\xb7 Able to read and interpret structural and architectural drawings.

\xc2\xb7 Strong attention to detail and capable of working independently.

\xc2\xb7 Self-motivated and effective problem-solving skills.

\xc2\xb7 MiTek experience is considered an asset.

\xc2\xb7 Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
