Responsibilities:
- Assist with front desk duties, including scheduling appointments and verifying insurance information
- Interact with patients in a professional manner, ensuring privacy and confidentiality is upheld
- Prepare patients for procedures and assist during examinations
- Administer eye drops and medications as directed by healthcare providers
- Perform diagnostic tests, such as tonometry and visual field testing, OCTs and Fundus photos
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic medical records

As an Ophthalmic Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing quality eye care to our patients. You will work closely with ophthalmologists and other techs to ensure that patients receive the highest level of care. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work well in a team. Skills:
- Experience working in a medical office (preferred)
- Knowledge of electronic medical records systems (preferred)
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to provide excellent patient care
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation
- Willingness to learn and excel in various roles
