Kiewit is hiring an experienced Equipment Operator Lead Hand for the Woodfibre Project in Squamish, BC.This role involves operating various types of equipment in a marine-adjacent industrial environment. Candidates must be comfortable working around water and performing tasks such as backing up trailers onto barges and loading/offloading materials and equipment.
Requirements
----------------
5+ years experience operating zoom boom, calmar or similar forklift, shunt truck, high way truck and trailer
Lead hand experience
Must have Marine experience:
+ Using skiff boat
+ Backing trailers onto barges
+ Loading/offloading equipment and materials from barges
+ Must be familiar with hydraulic systems while working in a marine environment Must have Class 1 Driver's license and provide 5 year Driver's Abstract
Valid Zoom Boom Ticket
Valid Forklift Ticket
CSTS 2020 and WHMIS 2015
