Job Description

Reporting to the Operations Care Center Manager, the Operations Team Member is responsible for a range of daily tasks, including operating the cremation retort, creating and packaging paw prints, engraving plaques and memorial items, and preparing cremated remains for return. This hybrid role combines in-person responsibilities at our care center with occasional travel or support at off-site locations.

Duties & Responsibilities



Operate the cremation retort and related equipment. Create and package paw prints, engrave plaques and other memorial items. Perform quality checks and package cremated remains with care and accuracy. Maintain cleanliness and basic upkeep of the care center and equipment. Monitor equipment performance, make necessary adjustments, and submit maintenance requests. Follow all health, safety, and handling protocols. Travel locally when needed to support off-site operations or transport materials. Support with additional duties as needed.

Hybrid role with on-site and occasional travel responsibilities.

Education, Training & Qualifications



High school diploma or equivalent required. Minimum 1 year of experience in a service-based industry.

Valid driver's license and clean driving record required.

Working Conditions



Regular bending, kneeling, lifting (including loads over 100 lbs), and repetitive movements. Exposure to elevated noise and heat levels. Regular handling of deceased pets. Use of PPE (personal protective equipment) required. Local travel as required.
