Position Overview



The

Operations support coordinator

plays an important role in helping maintain a safe and well-organized work environment for our op`s team in Edmonton and Calgary. This position is assists with safety documentation, training coordination, and day-to-day operations tasks.

This is a

support role

- ideal for someone who is details oriented, with strong organizational skills, who enjoys working with people, learning new processes and helping ensure tasks are completed accurately and on time.

This position reports to the Director of Operations.



While this role includes

dispatch support when needed

, the

primary focus is supporting safety tracking, forms, reporting, and communication

.

Key Responsibilities



Assist with safety documentation, forms, and checklists. Track training schedules and help coordinate training sessions. Provide dispatch coverage during peak hours, absences, or as needed. Monitor daily route progress and communicate with drivers and customer service to resolve scheduling issues. Support accuracy and timeliness of dispatch data and trip documentation.

Qualifications & Experience



2+ years experience in transportation, dispatching, office administration (waste, delivery, trucking, construction, or logistics experience is considered an asset). Experience maintaining records, completing reports, or tracking data . Strong computer skills: Excel, Word, email communication, and ability to learn internal systems. Clear and professional communication skills (English written and verbal). Strong organization skills with high attention to accuracy and detail. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Valid Class 5 driver's licence.

Work Schedule

- 40 hours, Monday to Friday (some Saturdays for dispatchers coverage)
