As an Operations Supervisor, a typical week might include the following:
Customer Service
- An ongoing commitment to product and service knowledge.
- Communicate with customers in person, over the phone and via email.
- Collaborate with the Managers to determine necessary strategic sales approaches.
- Inform customers of new products and services and improve value for the customer.
- Inventory planning and management.
- Oversight of warehouse facilities, health & safety, vehicles, and equipment.
- Ensure accuracy of shipments and associated documentation.
- Supervise and coordinate warehouse staff to ensure timely completion of work.
- Consistently uphold all company culture, health and safety, security and operational policies and procedures. Proficient knowledge of safe material handling techniques.
- Shipping and Receiving.
- Pick, Label and Pack Orders
- Install, Test and Charge Batteries
- Order Processing and System Entries in the ERP (NetSuite).
- General Warehouse Duties.

Required Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years experience with increasing levels of responsibility in management or supervisory role in warehouse, manufacturing or distribution.
- Automotive industry experience is an asset.
- Leadership and team building skills.
- Working experience in Shipping and Receiving role preferred.
- Able to communicate both verbally and in writing.
- Valid driver\'s license and good driving record.
- Working knowledge of safe packing methods.
- Demonstrated ability to operate material handling equipment including forklift truck.
- Able to work efficiently as a part of a team as well as independently.
- Computer literacy, including working skills of Excel and e-mail.
- Attention to detail in all areas of work.
- Good organizational, time management and prioritizing skills.
- Strong work ethic and positive team attitude.
