White Knight Janitorial Services Inc. has been in business over 29 years and is locally owned and operated. We are looking for a full time, experienced Operations Supervisor for our expanding business. About the Role:
We\xe2\x80\x99re looking for an experienced Operations Supervisor for the Lower Mainland. The Operations Supervisor may be the first point of contact for all clients regarding operations, escalations, and work orders. The prime focus of the Operations Supervisor is to ensure that White Knight meets its contractual obligations in line with service and budget parameters, and to look proactively for ways to increase performance. Responsibilities:

• May participate in the hiring, training, scheduling, supervision, and performance management of employees
• Provides coaching, feedback, and recognition
• Ensures a high degree of employee engagement and retention through strong leadership practices
• Liaises with clients to ensure that performance standards are met and complaints are addressed
• Plan and control budget and inventory
• Ensures that scheduled hours and actual hours are in line with budget
• Oversees or coordinates equipment repairs
• Ensures subcontractor hours are in line with budget

Experience and Skills:

• Excellent communication skills with clients and stakeholders
• Experience developing and fostering positive team environments
• Excellent communication and the ability to candidly have tough conversations
• Flexibility when it comes to your hours, as it\'s not uncommon to work outside regular business hours
• Work experience or knowledge of the Building Maintenance Service industry is considered an asset, but not required

Required:

• Monday to Friday, 9:00 am - 5:00 pm with flexibility for evenings and weekends when needed
• Experience: 4 - 5 years
• Valid driver\xe2\x80\x99s license
• High School Diploma
• Successful applicant will require a background check and a criminal record check.
