Job Summary



The Operations Scheduling Supervisor plays a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth daily operations of all divisions at Valley Driving School. This position manages instructor schedules, coordinates classroom utilization, processes essential documentation, and supports student account administration as well as program logistics.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing the routing and scheduling of our instructors to meet customer requirements, focusing on maximizing commute time between lessons and productivity in a safe and effective manner, while managing fleet repairs and maintenance.

Success in this role requires strong organizational skills, accuracy and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while effectively supervising the scheduling team.

Key Responsibilities



Scheduling Management

Planning, coordinating and scheduling of resources including on-road lessons and classroom sessions to achieve maximum productivity and fleet utilization. Review and manage daily, weekly, and monthly instructor schedules, schedule gaps, and travel time efficiency. Enter and adjust schedules for instructors and new student bookings. Review instructor availability and adjust zone settings to optimize on-road scheduling. Monitor course availability and adjust seating capacity as required. Communicate daily schedules, route plans, and last-minute adjustments to the instructors scheduling team to ensure timely lesson delivery and positive student experience. Oversee compliance with driver hours of service, instructor scheduling limits, and relevant transportation laws, codes, and regulatory standards. Provide leadership, coaching, and oversight to team members, fostering accountability, engagement, and operational excellence.
Paperwork, Documentation & Administration

Support the administrative department with required documentation and paperwork. Ensure accuracy and completeness of all documentation.

Qualifications



Minimum of 3 years experience in scheduling, dispatching, operations support, or workforce coordination. High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education an asset. Previous experience in scheduling, administration, or operations support. Strong computer skills, including database management and scheduling software.

Pay: $25.00-$27.00 per hour
