With your technical expertise and desire for a great user experience, you're a great candidate for our Operations Process Lead position.In this role, you will work as a team member of the Logistics team within the Application Support department to provide functional and technical internal consulting to support business unit processes and related information technologies, including our customer relationship and billing solutions modules. As part of the Application Support team within Information Systems (IS), you'll offer support and leadership for project management, systems sustainment, and issue resolution.In this role, you will:

  • Develop an understanding of and provide support to Operations in:
  • SAP PM and Custom built and 3rd party applications such as Mobile Workforce management, GIS, CAFxc3x89, Right of Way (ROW) permit applications
  • Support troubleshooting issues and provide end-user assistance to support business units.
  • Analyze business requests and recommend options and solutions.
  • Configure SAP PM (SAP EAM) module to deliver project results.
  • Analyze business enhancement requests and develop solution options.
  • Recommend new innovative technology solutions to support the objectives of our business units.
  • Collaborate with other teams within IS and our Company to support our project initiatives and objectives.
What it takes:
  • A bachelor's degree or diploma of technology in computer science or a related business area from a recognized program.
  • Candidate will have at least 5 years experience within the SAP Logistics modules (PM, EAM, MM) or SAP IS-U module, and have participated in an implementation/upgrade project. Or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience will also be considered.
  • Advance knowledge of SAP EAM, especially the PM/CS modules. Integration with other SAP modules such as SAP SD, MM, ISU-DM is an asset.
  • Demonstrated ability in SAP system configuration in SAP Plant Maintenance and Customer Service (PM/CS), Sales and Distribution (SD) modules, IS-U Device Management will be an asset.
  • Experience with working and supporting Dispatch and Field Service Management (FSM) Applications is an asset.
  • Demonstrated ability with working with Windows 2000 SQL server Query Analyzer or windows SQL server is an asset.
  • SAP Certification in Logistics PM-CS or EAM or IS-U modules or several years consulting experience is highly desirable
  • Strong trouble shooting skills; knowledge and ability to monitor and trouble shoot issues on application servers and trouble shoot integration problems between different systems is essential.
  • Knowledge of current and emerging solutions to the existing software and must be able to correctly recommend tools which will increase the value of the existing solution and be able to provide appropriate recommendation so that conflicts to the technology solutions are avoided.

  • An analytical individual with a skill for developing effective and efficient processes.
  • A deadline-driven mentality with the ability to juggle multiple projects at any given time.
