Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and hands-on Operations & Plant Manager to lead the full launch and ongoing management of a bottled water manufacturing facility located in Mississauga, Ontario.

The facility is fully equipped with a high-speed bottling line, and we're now ready to bring in the right person to oversee setup, optimization, production, and growth - turning this into a well-run and scalable operation.

Key Responsibilities

Lead all plant operations - including production setup, process optimization, and team coordination. Oversee installation, calibration, and maintenance of bottling and packaging equipment to ensure smooth, efficient, and continuous operation. Work with vendors, technicians, and suppliers to ensure the equipment and systems are running at peak performance. Implement production schedules, quality control, and safety procedures. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and government regulations for bottled water production and distribution. Manage inventory, raw materials, and logistics related to production. Assist with branding, packaging, and go-to-market planning in collaboration with ownership and marketing partners. Build and lead a small operations team as the business scales. Report progress and key metrics to ownership regularly, including cost efficiency, output, and quality targets.
Qualifications

3+ years of experience in manufacturing, food & beverage, or bottling operations. Strong mechanical aptitude with experience in operating or maintaining bottling, filling, or packaging line equipment; knowledge of automation and control systems (PLC) is an asset. Solid understanding of bottling line equipment, production systems, and maintenance procedures. Strong project management and problem-solving skills. Ability to handle both technical and operational aspects of plant setup and management. Entrepreneurial and execution-driven mindset - able to build, improve, and scale a new business. Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
