Silver Fox Pharmacy in Burlington is a Long Term Care pharmacy looking for a responsive, enthusiastic Pharmacist to join our dynamic operations team! Must possess a positive team spirit!
Responsibilities Include:
Follow all provincial and federal laws, standards and regulations which govern the practice of pharmacy at all time Work with all members of the pharmacy team to ensure medication orders are dispensed accurately and safely Check prescriptions for therapeutic appropriateness; communicating concerns to prescriber Work collaboratively with nurses and doctors to prepare the BPMH for new admitted LTC patients Maintain accurate, organized and complete resident health records ensuring appropriate documentation of health information. Participate in ongoing continuing education, remaining current in pharmaceutical, medical and professional licensing information Effective organization and time management skills
Qualifications/Experience:
Registration and in good standing with the Ontario College of Pharmacists
Ability to establish strong partnerships with other members of the health care team Knowledge of Kroll Windows and experience with eMAR an assetWe thank you for your interest, however only select applicants will be contacted regarding the position.
